Today I'm giving thanks for John Roberts.
John was our lawyer for many years at HomeSpotter. It was always a joy to work with John.
One of the things that I appreciated most about John is that he was very pragmatic. There were times I would call him with a concern and he would tactfully tell me we didn’t need to worry about it. He could’ve charged me for many hours of work but he was a straight shooter and he would tell me if I didn’t need to be concerned with something. And he was right.
In a prior startup we had a legal team that ran up bills well beyond what we needed just because they could. Working with John was such a refreshing contrast.
John- thank you for your partnership and wise counsel.
