Today I'm giving thanks for Don Ball.
A lot of people know that Don is a co-founder of Fueled Collective (f/k/a CoCo), which served as our office for a year and a half. But– I really want to give Don props for being such a generous guy.
I first met Don at a startup meetup held at a different coworking space (not his own) in January 2010. I gave Don my quick pitch of what I was up to and he asked me if I had spoken with anyone at Edina Realty yet. He committed to doing what he could to get me in touch… And that was just from a passing meeting.
A couple months later, he held an event on real estate marketing at CoCo in Saint Paul, asked me to speak at it, and he ensured Edina Realty’s VP of Marketing was in attendance. And so began the journey to get Edina Realty onboard as a client.
Don is otherwise just a great guy, fun to be around, and a champion of all things Twin Cities startup or tech related.
Don- thank you for your generous spirit and that early connection.
