Today I'm giving thanks for Justin Kaufenberg.
My guess is you can’t be in the Twin Cities startup community and not know about Justin and his co-founders success with SportsEngine.
I’m thankful for Justin for multiple things… At SportsEngine he was further along in the startup growth cycle and was often generous with his time to help me think about fundraising or sales growth strategies. On fundraising, he pushed me to tighten up messaging and fundraising decks. In general, he always encouraged me to think bigger than I was naturally inclined. He also connected me with some of the key angels that invested over the years.
Also, as it pertains to yesterday’s thank you– Justin is responsible for introducing me to our COO/CFO, Mark Pohl. He was a key hire at a critical time and I owe Justin big for that intro.
Justin- thank you for the generosity of your time and for being an inspiration around thinking big.
